Boot suggestions

I'm looking for some help finding the 'right' boot for me. Didn't know if anyone had suggestions. I currently wear the same Doc Martens I've had for over 10 years now, but they're falling apart. I ride a 2012 Thunderbird, so I want something that fits the look of a cruiser. I'm looking for something comfortable to wear while riding, and while on my feet all day at work. When I used to ride a Harley with floorboards, I had some Harley boots that were ok while riding, but terrible while walking/working. Now that I've got the Thunderbird, it has pegs, and the heel of the Harley boot is just too big. It's got a 1-2 inch heel. It gets caught up on the peg while trying to move my feet to shift/brake. I need something with more of a flatter sole. Damn. that's a long story about boots. Any suggestions?

I've been happy with my Gaerne touring boots. Waterproof, easy to ride in, armor, and comfy for walking... Just my two cents.

I recently got a pair of TCX Infinity boots and am pleased with them. I need a wider boot and while these don't come in wide widths, the boot runs a little wider than most so I can just about wear them all day walking & riding.

If you're looking for a Doc Marten replacement, you could do a lot worse than a pair of Matterhorn Ranger boots (with Gore-tex); I'm on my second pair in 15 years and they last through all seasons and plenty of walking and hard use, though like the Martens, they aren't bike boots so it won't be ATGATT.

Plus one for Matterhorns.

I have the full leather insulated Military Spec. I had a pair 25 years ago that were indestructible. Resolable, and very well made here in the USA.

I currently have another pair that are only on their first year. Perfect for cruiser bikes.

I'm waiting for these to come in. The company has a good reputation for comfort and durability.
