I really, really miss the old Sidi Panters... Under $100/pair, waterproof, non-steel cap toe slip-ons that were comfortable for walking around in all day...

Sorry, no useful suggestions, but I'll be keeping an eye on the answers myself.

Cheers,
-Kit

I have a pair of Alpinestar SMX-5 Waterproof boots which are a good all-rounder, but they do run a bit small.
Be sure to try them on first before buying as I had to go up a couple of sizes to be a good fit on my wide feet.

I have a pair of Frank Thomas sport boots which are great for protection, but suck to walk around in. I usually keep a pair of pumas or flip flops in the boxes to wear once I get where I'm going. I'd like to try the new SIDI Canyon boots. I saw a couple ads for them and they look nice and look like they might not be that bad to walk around in.

I have a pair of these Diadora boots. Very lightweight and super comfortable for 5 day trips when I almost never take them off except to swim and sleep.

I have a pair of Alpinestars Ridge and Joe Rocket Meteors. Both nice and both waterproof. JR fits me better so the Alpinestars are for sale cheap
