Boots for the office?

Hey Gang,
Has anyone come across a riding boot that would look ok with a pair of khakis in an office setting? I want something I can ride to work in and wear all day without drawing much attention: no lightning bolt logos, starburst icons, space-age-looking soles, etc. (And yes, I know I should be riding in something more substantial than khakis...)
Thanks, J

Check out some of the Frye boots. Great quality and you can wear them in lots of situations (suit, jeans, whatever).

Thanks for the suggestions. I like Frye boots a lot and have been wearing a Frye chelsea-style boot I've had for a long time on my bike, but was looking for something with more support and protection.
Chipppewa's a good suggestion too. In fact, after casting around the internet, I decided to go with that company, but a different boot, the 'Rally.'

The patch of leather for shifting gears shouldn't be too noticeable and it has a narrow, traditional shape. The velcro should be hidden under my cuff most of the time too.

The boot I wear when I don't want to look like an Imperial Stormtrooper is a mid-height Diadora. I believe Firstgear sells the same boot as their Express model. Here is a link:

Protection is limited (i.e. no plastic around the ankle), but they are comfortable on and off the bike for extended periods.

Once you've bought some boots you need to get yourself some of these trousers to protect the rest of you in style while commuting to the office
