Those wines of the 70's

I'm doing some writing and trying to recall all the raunchy cheap wines we had in the decades past. I have Ripple, Boones Farm, Wild Irish Rose, Night Train (the wine with the doppler effect), and my old fav..Bali hai. Can you remember any?:
It's not what you look like when you're doin' what you're doin', It's what you're doin' when you're doin' what you look like you're doin.

from 1970 song "Express Yourself" by Charles Wright and the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm band.

Don't forget the Mad Dog - MD 40-40. Won't admit to drinking any myself.

Blue Nun. Black Tower.

I actually have a 1990 vintage bottle of Black Tower that I've been meaning to try. It was brought by some skinflint scumbag to a party I had, and it's managed to wangle itself into every removal van I've had since - sometimes moving of its own accord in the dead of night, I'm sure. Anyone care for a glass?

How could we not remember "Thunderbird" on a Triumph forum, it was right next to the Ripple. I myself was a cindasewer drinking Gallo white port.
Sorry Ditto, I missed yours

I believe that was Richards Wild Irish Rose, and don't forget T.J. Swann.

Oh dear,

In Aus, these kinds of wines were commonly called "Leg Openers"

Ben-Ean Moselle by Lindemans
Porphry Pearl - a sparkling cheapie
Coolibah - wine in a 4 litre box, when it was empty you could use the bladder inside for a pillow.
