Exclamation KTM 990 Adventure!

OMG! What a bike! A buddy just got one. Bright orange and fast as all get out, yet superbly capable on dirt roads... Wow... Am sorely tempted... There's another one at the dealer... No. No. NO!

I'm thinking about the KTM 690 enduro for some of the off-road stuff!

Indeed! You'd hardly look Sixty8 cool, let alone Steve McQueen cool, on a KTM now would you?

My brother-in-law has a Super Duke in black. He has always been generous with his bikes. He's owned more than 200 over his lifetime. It used to be he'd offer me a ride on his new bikes. Not anymore. He's on it all the time. (His previous bike was a BMW GS1200, which he called the best bike he'd ever owned.) On the other hand, I've ridden the Super Enduro. It's a scream. KTM definitely has "it" nailed down.

I hope to test ride an Adventure at Mid-Ohio. I test rode a super duke there last year and it was really fun. That being said, I think I would still probably purchase a KLR650 for adventure riding and save a few $$$
