Hey folks!
Glad you enjoyed the pics. It was a fun day.
I'd never even heard of a Brough Superior or a Henderson. Those old bikes sure do make some valve noise!
There was a rumor going around that the guy with the BSA Goldstar (also owner of the Brough) bought it from a museum that's why there's only 1 mile on it. Kinda cheating in a way. At least I rode mine there.
The poor bike was smoking a bit when he started it. I think it
wants to be ridden.
Have to admire the guy's ability to resist temptation though. I don't think I could own a motorcycle, or any other vehicle, and never ride or drive it. I just couldn't do it. You know how it would start, I'd rationalize oh, what's the big difference between 1 mile and 2. Then, eh, 2 miles, 10 miles still rare. Next thing ya know it's racking up the miles. I guess I wouldn't be a very good collector.
He even put gloves on before pushing it back on the trailer. Beauty of a bike though. And it's his. So obviously he can do what he wants (or doesn't want) with it.
Most other bikes were ridden around. And I gotta tell ya, it was trippy seeing those old indians cruising down the road. Kinda like a big noisy bicycle. Too cool.
