Photo Album Limits???
Does anybody know how much space is allowed in the "Member Album" now that the evil empire, aka Motorcycle.com, has taken over our beloved site? I was doing some photo house cleaning the other day, removing old low viewed pic's and tried to add a new one when I got this message... We're sorry, but you currently are over your quota for allowed disk space.
Please remove images from your gallery to free up more space.
So I send a PM to Discomoderator asking what's the deal and nearly a week later still no response. I don't have a problem down sizing my album but I need to know the max I'm allowed. Is this a change M/c.com made? Do you have to be a paid subscriber to have more space in your photo album? Anybody know???
Sure don't get the same service from the new guys that we did from Shawn... oh well, some good things are just too good to last forever.

I quit using the site albums sometime back. When I would try to use a photo from my site album it would just give a thumbnail, and when uploading half the time it would take forever and/or not work.
Long story short I just use photobucket now and I can use it for any forum.
"Dicomoderator" thats great.

This question was posted three days ago and was immediately moved, but still has not been answered. Is this the black hole for questions the moderators don't want to bother answering?

I, for one, have absolutely no idea how much space is in the album, so can't help you.
But I will ask in the mods forum and see if anyone knows.

Here's the answer:
Whenever anyone clicks on the upload link within the albums, they are presented with a page that includes available space information. Representing the difference between what that user is allowed, and how much has already been uploaded.

Thanks for the reply haggis but if like in my case you're already over the limit there is no information shown (I assume it's a graphic with a bar chart or some such) all I get is the "We're sorry, but you currently are over your quota for allowed disk space. Please remove images from your gallery to free up more space" message, every time.

My guess is, that it's 10meg for regular membership and 50meg for the premium. I'll find more out on Monday(ish).

Thanks for the info Hag, I have used 28 meg of space so unless I delete 3/4 of my photos or pay the membership fee I can no longer use my photo album... OK I guess that's the way it is on a pay site. Keep up the good work there Hag, thanks again.
