This beggers belief
Maybe I am old fashioned, but I was genuinely stunned by this breaking news from Australia.

A Family Court judge has allowed a 12-year-old girl, who wants to become a boy, to begin hormone treatment.
The court heard that the girl has thought of herself as a boy since she was four years old.
Her mother made an application on her behalf, for her to begin hormone treatment to stop her pubertal development, the first step in a process which, if continued, would allow her to pursue life as a boy.
'The court heard her father objected to the treatment, and sent her a text message saying, "I want the little girl, not some girl that thinks she is a boy".
But the judge heard the girl yelled at her father she would kill herself if she had to live as a girl.
The judge ruled the hormone treatment was in her best interests.
The Family Court orders also permit her to apply for a new birth certificate, passport and Medicare card in a boy's name.'

Maybe she just didn't wanted to be limited to a life of Honda Rebels, Buell Blasts and ninja 250's.
Don't see how a judge has say in such a decision anyway...

I would say someone who threatens suicide if she doesn't get her way isn't mentally competent to make such a decision.

Unbelievable that a temper tantrum got a 12 year old girl who has started puberty and is full of hormonal rage a sex change....
Why cant boys be boys, girls be girls, we ride bikes, play with GI Joe's and girls with Barbies and we all get along.

Yet another perfect example of how the courts, and unscrupulous Lawyers, have been in the forefront in ruining the world for the rest of us. Twist those words, use those loopholes, bend the law
Anyone involved with this should be either imprisoned, or perhaps operated on!
