Has this ever happened to ya'll.......
Ok today i was on my lunch break at Bennigans and after we gone i walked outside to find this guy SITTING on my Bonnieville!! I politely ask him what he was doing and the says "oh is this your bike?" While im standing there its 90 sumthin degrees and i have on a leather jacket with my helmet in my hand. Then i tell him that this is not a dealership and the a-hole says well i didnt think it would be big deal.
Have any of ya'll ever had this happen to you before?
Come on guys give me your stories!
Abner

that is a idiot that doesn't know "the rules", he's lucky he sat on your bike and not some 1%er's HD.
Still, grounds for an ass kicking for sure. At least a stern "get the F off my bike!"

I would have asked him how he would have felt if he came out and found me sitting in his car, followed by saying, "I didn't think it was any big deal." Just some guy in a lapse of reason by acting without thinking. At the very least he should have apologized first which would show some remorse for being thoughtless.

I'd be very wary about messin with anyone's stuff, in Texas, as I've been hearing a lot about the new personal property laws there lately. & as I understand them, you could (should) have legally shot him!
I don't know what I'd do. Once I got over the shock, if I could keep my temper in check (highly unlikely), I'd be on the phone to the Cops, & have the A/hole charged with criminal trespass. But it's more than likely that the cops would be taking me away, & the A/hole would require an ambulance.

I think I have to agree with OS on this.
I would probably think that he was trying to steal my bike and act accordingly.
I wonder if this jerk would consider it 'no big deal' if he came back to his car and found someone sitting in the drivers seat?

Now guys, let's be mature adults here, and not go over the edge.
I would have been very patient and understanding, then bent over ever so slowly and carefully opening my saddlebag latch, and then...
OPENED UP A HUGE CAN O' WHOOP-ASS!
This situation clearly called for some wholehearted violence.
Who sits on another guys bike without asking, if ever?

I'm not too keen to sit on someone else's bike, even when invited to. It's like being asked to snog your best mate's g/f. Sure you'd like to, but it'd just be too wierd (unless you like those kind of parties )
& I definitely wouldn't ride someone else's bike, without knowing that I was fully covered by their insurance.
That guy was so far over the line, it's not funny.

No way... that's not cool at all. Among my riding buddies, we'll sit on each other's bikes (maybe test drive) just to feel the difference. I ride with Harley guys, crotch rockets, the whole gambit... and we're all pretty close.
As far as strangers, I've had guys look at my bike a little too long and it makes me uncomfortable. I understand it's not too common a ride... but crouched down by the engine and leaning in freaks me out; led to one of my favorite lines: "You wanna buy it? No? ...then back the F*** up."
