Triumph in the movies
Just saw the dvd "Billy Jack" last night and by gum i think he rides a bonnie scrambler. It was very hard to tell since most shots were from an angle that made it difficult to say for sure. It had to be either a scrambler or a honda scrambler, the tank shape sure looked triumphish but in the end I couldn't tell for sure (even with stop frame).
Anyone know?
Bill

Roadside Prophets
I'm watching this movies on the IFC called Roadside Prophets. Its pretty quirky but interesting. Its a road movie, the one guy is in search of El Dorado, probably all the reason you need to have a biker movie. The bikes in question are an old Harley and the other bike sure enuff is a 70's Bonneville, I think. Lots of good shots of the bikes so far and I don't recall this movie being brought up, I did a search which is how I ended up posting this on this thread.
I said the movie is quirky, the guy on the Harley is carrying around the ashes of his biker friend in an old gas tank, he's wants to place the ashes in this El Dorado place. Couple of cameo's include David Carradine and Alro Guthrie. Here's a quote from the review: "Themes such as friendship, faith, and isolation are brought into sharp relief by strange situations, the lonely road, and the stark emptiness of the desert."

In the upcoming Curious Case of Benjamin Button, one of the bikes Brad Pitt's titular character rides is a Triumph of some sort. Watch for it if you see the trailer before Indy 4.

Caught the preview and I was thinking one of those was a Triumph but when I tried to pull the trailer up on the net afterwards the only one I could find was a grainy Spanish version. The resolution wasn't good enough to make anything out for sure. Since the weekend it seems like even the cruddy Spanish version has been taken down. Ben Buttons is going to be great, the last 2 times Pitt worked with director David Fincher we got Fight Club and before that they made Se7en!!! Can't wait til x-mas for this one.

Yeah I just watched Roadside Prophets on IFC also, watched it a while back and really liked it. I am going to ride down to the Grand Canyon in June and the scenery in Roadside Prophets should be similar to what I see, so watching that movie gets me fire up to travel (minus the friends ashes!)

Roadside Prophets
I saw Roadside Prophets last night on IFC, I probably missed the first 20 minutes and hope to catch it again. Who was the guy with the eye patch that they arrested for running out after gorging himself on food and not paying the bill, he is pretty famous now I just cannot think of his name.

That was John Cusack, seemed like some type of anti-government pirate!

New Indiana Jones
I saw the trailer for the new Indy Jones movie on a few entertainment news broadcasts over the weekend and the bike the kid crashes sure looks like a Bonnie Black. Anyone else seen this clip?
