Check out my new Triumph Disk or Helmet Lock!
Look at the spiff that Mr. Heckler & Mr. Koch gave me when I bought my Brand New Equalizer!
I’m thinking that if I was going to rob a helmet or a motorcycle that had an HK lock on it I would probably think twice and “Move along . . . there’s nothing to see here Folks!”
The 185 Grain Jacketed 45 ACP Hollowpoints tell the whole story here!

Infidel (literally "one without faith") is an English word meaning "one who doubts or rejects central tenets of a religion or has no religious beliefs", especially in reference to Christianity or Islam.[1][2][3] The Arabic word kafir is the Muslim term for an infidel.[4][5]
In the Roman Catholic Church the term was traditionally used to refer to one who did not believe in the divinity of Jesus knowingly held beliefs that contradicted Catholic dogma, or one who had not been baptized,[6][7] or to describe non-Christians or those perceived as enemies of Christianity, including Muslims.[8] Current English speaking ecclesiastical usage however distinguishes between non-Christians and non-believers (persons without religious affiliations or beliefs). The current preference for these terms over the pejorative "infidel" reflects the modern Roman Catholic Church's commitment to engage in dialog with persons of other, or no faith

Hedge,
I don't much give a rats rectum about the meaning or origin of anything,
but I do like the idea of that cable lock as a helmet lock.
For anyone interested, they should be readily available from any gun shop or Locksmith for under $10.

Heckler & Koch. Ping! You need a UMP to go with it. And for those of you who are wondering, it's pronounced Coke, not Kotch. When lives are at stake, leave nothing to chance.
Heckler & Koch made the front page of newspapers around the world in 1980 when British SAS commandos wielding now-famous HK MP5 sub-machine guns took down terrorists who had seized the Iranian embassy in London. HK continues to use a photo showing two of the commandos from that operation, known as Operation Nimrod, to promote the MP5.
Triumph and the SAS - two badges Great Britain can be very proud of!

Hedge, I think you might be on to something. A helmet lock with the S & W, Colt, HK and some other logos might be a more effective deterrent than one that says "Master" on it.
I think a trip to my gun dealer is needed.

Wow! lets get the beer and bibles out! I was told that Koch is pronounced Cox, but with out the 's' sound at the end - not wanting to be fallacious here. Koch is a hard word to get ones laughing gear around, so it seems - personally I don't care for it but would be interested in it's derivation, what with the 'glottal stop' and all. Though I'd probably have to roll up my sleeves for that one, exercising my right to bear arms, as it were - all that second amendment stuff, it seems so quaint what with all the tasers and nuclear arsenals about in this day and age. I mean the friggin' fear of the 'Malitias', they don't like cold hard Malitias shoved up there politics do they - because most have forgotten their history, so it doesn't really matter - book burning anyone?!
Come on, H&K padlock as a helmet lock ! - kind of a hollow point really!

I think that H&K are owned by British Aerospace now.

HK was owned by a subsidiary of British Aerospace (now BAE Systems) but was sold to a private consortium several years ago. The present owners are now looking to flip the company as well.

someone should have said something. I tossed out 8-10 of these things.... people kept giving them to me (I don't use them - when guns are in a locked cabinet / safe, it seems a bit silly) - and they were getting those same locks from some safe gun program, they were free to people.
