The new KTM RC8 in this months Motorcyclist Magazine...

Did you read the article? WOWZA the Austrians have got something here...

The price wasn't even listed in the article, that scares me Hopefully it won't be too rediculously overpriced like Ducati.

Post your thoughts on the article if you read it.

The bike sounds awesome from what they wrote, but by looking at pricing for the rest of their line I would guess the price will be right there with the 1098.

I like 'em in white, but I hate 'em in orange. & we (Oz) are only getting the orange ones. They're $28K over here, compared to $32K for a 1098S. That's why I think that the Buell 1125R is such a bargain at $19K. It's just a shame that it's an ugly POS too.
They're all excellent handling machines though, & I can't wait to see them all go head to head in next years WSB.

Well in the UK the 1098s is £14,950 whilst the RC8 is £10,695 but I couldn't live with that "Praying Mantis" styling

KTM..........excellent bikes but silly styling and silly prices. When Triumph do a machine like the Street3 it shows the rest up.

I like the styling. Fresh and different and way better than the hideous efforts from Japan. I love the fact that the RC8 is so adjustable. It cost me a fortune to make my Daytona 955 adjustable in a sinillar way. I think the RC8 is a significant bike. Come on now Triumph look learn and bring us a new big Daytona in the same mold as the RC8.

It was also in BIKE magazine and a few others. I think it is dang cool because it is completely adjustable for your riding comfort. The only thing that bugs me is the headlight. Otherwise its gorgeous and probably runs like mad.

I couldn`t live with the looks, even if it was half the price and twice as good. I often find myself in the garage late at night just staring at my Triumphs. If that was in there, I`d have to put a sheet over it!
