A challenge!
Okay, I admit I'm a little bored and I know you guys are sick of my "thoughts", so I offer a challenge to the group. Search through some of your favorite posts and come up with your favorite lines or retorts.
I've been re-reading some today and, man, there are some funny, funny guys here. What do you think is the best line you've read here?

We're spoiled with so many .
Not a single line, but everything Archimedes wrote here as he recounted his memories from the Mods & Rockers days of the Sixties. Brilliant story telling:

Whisperinsmith,
You're right. There are many to choose from. One that stands out in my mind, and always gives me a good chuckle, is your story of accidentally urinating on that guy's shoe or boot. Was his name Big Jim or something like that? Very funny! A classic to be, I'm sure, in the Triumphrat.net archives. Keep the good stories rolling along.

LightningJack,
Apparently that was not PG rated and won't see the light of day again.
I was thinking more of the "replies". tba-golfer, Tbirdnz, hidesert, mistermellow rank high, and I can think of so many more that made me nearly fall out of my chair. I'll search. I miss cheapbastard too. And of course, boozefighter. He may go down as the alltime champion.

The most recent line I can think of made me burst out laughing at work. It was in response to the question about what to take in a tool kit. Here is what Tbird had to offer:
"Machine lathe, injection moulder, drill-press, casting dies, full range of spares, spare set of new tyres and portable work-bench."
DaveB is right, there are a lot of funny people on this forum. My memory is fuzzy, so it would indeed be fun to go back through old threads.

A recent one by Tbirdnz in reply to someone who resurected my post lamenting getting on in years.
"....sadly all the old guys that posted on this thread way back in January have since gone to a better place, rest their souls ! "
I love his dry sarcasm! He's hard to top in that realm. Hey, maybe he was not being sarcastic.

Yeah, but he's wrong (not often, but this time he is); we're all still around! You dudes in the states have now got your good Spring weather so you now spend your time riding .

The guy I miss from the forum is Arch, I loved baiting him when I was a member and he was the Mod. I often wondered when I signed in whether or not my sign-in code still worked !
I miss his zany threads that could take hold out of nothing and go for pages.

Ride on !
