Speed Triple Vs Kawasaki ZX10R 2008

Hi fellows,
Have been to Easten Creek yesterday on my Speed Triple.
Was overtaken by a rocket on the straight, which turned out being the new ZX-10R '08 model. Nice piece of machinery.
Put together a short video to document the encounter.....
Have a look

My Triple is almost stock, on carbon MIVV pipe and modified Open Arrow tune.
Ciao

Nice vid, glad you held your own up there Dan but as you say the ZX10R can move but you had no trouble catching it !

cool. Love your vid Dan0z .
I think the rider on the 10r has a bit more learning to come . You caught him on the brakes and away from the straight hes a bit , umm, consevative. Perhaps the bike is new for him. That kwaka is supposed to have some nifty cornering tricks as well.

Yes, you might be right, I also believe that the ZX10R was brand new.
The rider looks as to be an experienced riders, good riding style, good posture, and even lines aren't bad..... but probably on a new bike you tend to take it a bit easy, don't you?

Nice vid! Yeah they are fast. Yeah, I think he probably got a load in his pants when you got on him and downshifted. On the same bike, I think you have smoother skills. Cool stuff.

Nice vid. Very different bikes. Did you get a chance to chat with him in the paddock? I know I'd be pretty conservative on a bike I was still learning all its little idiosyncrasies.
