We're having a heatwave

Don't knock it, it's an event over here in the UK!! It's been over 70 degrees for over 4 days now and bright sunshine. But it will end in tears as it usually does here (thunder storms probably)

Making the most of it though, been out for a ride every day.

Sounds like a big thunderstorm over London right now.

This site shows the positions and activity of thunderstorms over the UK;

What did you buy? I came back from a ride yesterday and the sweat literally ran from the sleeves of my jacket onto my hands I still riding with my Frank Thomas winter weight jacket,although I took the liner out. been thinking about a mesh jacket, going to have a look at sometime this week. That'll make the sun disappear!!

Snap, I also have FT winter weight stuff, too much for current temps!

I bought Hein Gericke Devon II pants and Devon III jacket. I've been out in them today with linings removed and they work fine. The jacket in particular is really well thought out and has enough vents to keep it cool.

They're both waterproof (probably not to the FT standard but good enough) and come with zip-removable linings which, I suspect, means they'll be good for much of the winter also.

TBA will be thinking we are all liars about the weather here. Funny he said visiting Scotland in search of warm weather and by God he found it. He can visit more often if this the result, bring it on.

Yep make the most of it, UK weather is generally opposite ours, we've now ditched blustery weather and now back in a blue sky and sunshine for a beautiful autumn day.

---------------
Ride on !
