Aahh. the anonymous trashing of others and their ideals. I'm pretty sure that is what the internet was invented for.

A bit of criticism is ok where justified, as in double-standards, but we put our leaders on a pedestal and while we cannot expect them to lead an ordinary life, security issues put paid to that, we can expect them to at least try to practice what they preach.

If we just keep the thread clean and free from abuse it will be doing ok, sofar so good,
we're keeping an eye on it !

Substitute your favorite politco

Al Gore boards a commercial airliner and finds himself seated next to a 10-year old girl. Al turns to the girl and says "I like to talk on airplanes. Do you mind if we have a conversation about nuclear energy?"

The little girl responds "No, sir. I don't mind, but can I ask a question first?"

To which Al answers "Sure."

The girl begins "You know cows, horses, and sheep all eat basically the same thing. Right?"

"Yes"

"But what comes out is different. Horses make biscuits, cows make pies, and sheep make raisins. Why is that?"

Gore hums and haws then says "I don't know little girl."

The girl responds "You. You're an expert on energy and the environment, and you want to talk to me about nuclear energy when you don't know $hit?!"

I saw an article recently that the Gore home in Tennessee has been retrofitted with Photovoltaic panels and other "green" equipment, so your information is out of date, much like your politics.

I met Gore years ago when he was a State Sen and thought he was an idiot then, but let's be clear here, he only did that update to his Nashville home AFTER the original article above went public. He made sure to cite they installed more energy-efficient light bulbs. That's kind of masterminding of global engery is what won him the prize ...

Now, can we puh-lease get back to talking about motorcycles!?!?!?!?

And will be as long as certain people who've wished for the end of the internal combustion engine don't get their way.
