You should have laughed. He needs the wakeup call. On a long summer day, 5 hours is a good after work ride.

Glad my father doesn't own a hardley

He rides a kawasaki vulcan ( harley look a like ) but he rides the **** thing into the ground!

I'm proud of him, he'll ride 5-7 hundred miles a day to get to a bike event, rain, snow, heat, doesn't matter, he'll ride 'til he falls off the bike

He doesn't wear all leathers and doesn't have any leather strips hanging from his handlebars!

You might call him a biker but I'll be d@mned if anyone calls him a fake biker He's a true motorcyclist.

I am amazed how often I see this around here too. I normally commute daily, year-round, and I see quite a few other bikes as it warms up. The one's on trailers and in the bed of trucks are disproportionaly Harley's. I think their bikes are better than they do......but, chrome hates weather.

Tis True this harley thing.....
I used to work for the Local Birmingham Harley Dealer & can attest to the Dopes that ride some of those bikes. Not all of 'em but alot of them. I once saw a father & son come in & buy 2 brand new Road Kings off the floor and immediately roll them to the service dept (where I worked) and started "the Add-ons". 23k for the bikes with an additional 8 Grand for the extras, such as radio system, detachable saddlebags & tour pak, Big Bore kit, LOTS of chrome etc. Then came delivery day and some of the son's parts were not in yet so we kept the bike for a few extra days until it was complete. At which time the owners loaded them both up & trailered them to Daytona. THey put about 500 "cruising" miles on them at the beach & then brought them back for some more work. Sheesh!
Everyday occurrance at the Dealership......

That's what I was thinking. I had this vision in my minds eye of LoVel listening to this Suit about his Hog! Suit by weekday, Pirate on the weekend!

There's Farmers who sit on their John Deer's longer than 5 hours - everyday!

What do Harleys and Labrador Retrievers have in common?

They both spend most of their lives in the back of pick-up trucks....
