Ace cafe navigation fixed

We've all heard of the Ace Cafe on the north circular in London haven't we? Birthplace of cafe racing and all that, surely we've all got to go there at least once, a sort of biker's pilgrimage if you will.

Yesterday my mate Steve and I decided we'd go visit the Ace. Steve doesn't do computers so it fell to me to get directions from the Ace website and further assistance from google. To cut a long, and hot, and frustrating, story short - I couldn't find it [hangs head in shame]

Today, determined not to be beaten, I shot off up the motorway armed with an enlarged selection of maps and a thorough grounding in the localities of Park Royal and Alperton. And what did I find at the Ace, the world famous biker's cafe? (Yes I know it was originally aimed at truckers)

There were plenty of bikes as well though:

and even a pretty row of Harleys

.... good on you saphena - patience is a virtue.
Unfortunately the Jag owners club beat you to the best parking.

My Saphena (to the tune of the Kanck's My Sharona)

Saphena you rock.
I had never heard of the Ace til reading the Poor Circlulation blogs.
Cool photo's.
You Limey's look vaguely like us Yanks.
Strange though I thought that the houses had thatched roofs and I didn't see any Bobbies on bicycles two by two.
Cool Britania.
