Bike Tours

Hi People,

I have never undertaken a bike tour (wife and Kids) but now I am single I am thinking of undertaking a tour holiday. As I would be on my own I am considering an organised bike tour. Was thinking maybe Eastern Europe Hungary Poland etc.

Has anybody have any experience of doing this? If so any recomendations ie companies etc.

Street, I've not done this, but I've heard it's very, very good. http://www.adventurebiketours.co.uk/pages/worldtour.htm

And then I have a friend who's just returned from India after riding around on an Enfield http://www.blazingtrailstours.com/

Come to Australia and do this one. http://www.capeyorkmotorcycles.com.au/index.html

If you're not looking for such an exotic adventure, just load up some clothes, a cell phone and credit card and go for a ride. If you look for them, you might find travelling companions on the way!

Mick

Bike tours

I have used Motorbikefun tours based in Frankfurt. The owner is German but speaks good English. His tours are mainly in western Europe but are very well researched and he will take you to places that would otherwise get passed by should you try to put together a trip on your own. As with all tours it is a bit of a lottery as to who else would be on the trip. The first time I used him I was the only client but the second time it was a mixture of Germans and an American. Both times were excellent and I would recommend him.
