Stay cool Adelaide

Adelaide Sth Aust has just broken the record for an Aust capital city staying over 35C (95F) for 15 consecutive days. Making it the hottest city in the country. The average temp for March is 37.5C (100F) & there's no end in sight!
My old stomping ground down there (Burra 160klms nth of Adelade) is even hotter, with daily temps of 45C (115F)!
I hope all our members are staying cool & restricting their rides to night cruises. "Coz that's way too hot for day riding.
Ironically, the large high pressure system which is causing the Sth East to fry, is the same one that's causing all the rain up this way. So we're both praying for the mongrel to move. But for opposite reasons.
That's Australia for you though.

We're even picking it up over here Scratch, we've had forecasted rain here for the past 3 days but it's been beautiful and perfect blue skies and sunshine at the moment on a high that came across the Tasman, and now predicted to last all week. I'd better get riding !

When it gets that hot, I get in the a/c car, especially with the congested roads around here.

I'm envious, Scratcher.

Temps here are finally just making it into the 40's (F). For me the hotter the better. No such thing as too hot

Hi Guys. I'm living in Adelaide, just had the last fortnight off work on holidays to get out and about....and lucky me....its the hottest fortnight in history.

Was to much on the bike, went out a couple of times, but I melted (the old english blood never did climatise to the really hot weather).

So, sat around drinking beer and buying stuff off the web for my bike....so the mods will commence shortly
