Where did you go for your first ride of the season?

It almost hit 60 degrees in Chicago today. It was perfect riding weather, although if this was July I'd be bitching about how cold it was.

I drove to my Triumph dealer just to spend some money. What did you do on your first ride of the year?

Tell the Truth

This is a good thread because I ride almost every day. Except on the days I need my pick up I'll ride.
Now some of the folks I've talked about riding too say "well traffic sucks to ride your bike to and from work".
This can be true.
But I do see alot of riders every day (more now that gas is going up) in the morning on the way to work.
How about it?
How many here ride everyday(when possible)?

Which season? I ride all of them. It was 14f when I left for work Monday. My hands got cold because my gloves were still wet from riding home in the rain on Friday. Yesterday was about 30 but I took the truck. They had salted for the snow. I don't like the spray on the highway when it's full of salt. This morning was nice, 18 degrees and dry. Ride home was a very nice 35. The weather is only bad when the clothes are inadequate. Goretex is the greatest.

Year Round!!!

What can I say? As for the next ten years I can ride year round. That's about the only good thing about living here.

I ride everyday as well. The coldest this year was 19f. I did take a ride from my roommate one day because there was ice on the bridges, but that was about it.

I have no garage space, so my bike is in storage... I'll pull it out just as soon as it can stay over 40F and there's no chance of snow/salt.

I get it out in January on a freakishly warm day just to get a good run in...
