Finally...........

Well, the divorce is almost final and I made my last trip out of my old house yesterday. The snow and mud had finally gotten to the point that I could ride my bike out. I looked in my rearview realizing that we would never travel this road again. After the 2 miles of dirt/mud/ice and snow, I made it to the asphalt and opened the girl up. First time since October we had any time together.
You forget the zen you realize going down the road. Made it to the slab and exceeded the ton before pulling her back to 85 and proceeded to put almost 200 miles on yesterday.
A new door is opening as another closes. I think I might just ride to Atlanta and go to work for Triumph. Ciao for now.

Did you ever settle on the 2-bike scheme (which to keep where?). That was you wasn't it? My memory isn't what it used to be, if my memory serves me correctly.

Best wishes, and especially happiness to you. Lean on us if you get to a point where you need to talk to family.

b2,
I live just outside Atlanta and visited Montana in 2002 during a 2 week bike trip through the Canadian Rockies, Glacier, Yellowstone and points between. I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would want to move to Atlanta from such a beautiful place. Montana is clean, uncrowded and sells Moosedrool on tap! We have traffic, crime, traffic, humidity, traffic and did I mention traffic!?!
Good luck with your new beginning where ever you end up

cheers,
dc

Put the past behind you and ride. We're always here with silly banter whenever you need us!

Is there anything you've learned that you'd be comfortable telling us? In this arena, I for one much prefer to learn vicariously.

...and + 1 hidesert. I've always found marriage often spoils a beautiful relationship.

You make your own luck b2. One door closes, another opens.

It's a strange road we travel sometimes. May your asphalt be smooth and ice free.

I've always been partial to what I believe is a bit of Chinese philosophy. I've been told the Chinese have two different symbols for "crisis." One means "danger" and the other means "opportunity." All depends on how you look at your situation.

Joe, Sorry to hear about your divorce. Sometimes things happen because they are suppose too. Best wishes and luck to you my friend. If you get detoured through NM let me know you have a place to rest on your way to your new destination.

Your friend,
Jerry
