Bike Week J Wood auction

Yesterday a friend and I went to the J Wood & co antique and classic bike auction in Deland.
It was the first day and quite a good turnout. The Japanese bike club had a great display out front on the lawn and that was quite nice with some wonderfully restored, and a few original, japanese bikes with more hondas than anything else. We did spot a twin engined kawa...(see pics) and that was a monster. We both wondered how you took a corner with that one...
Inside ($6) admission, were about 200 plus machines lined up in rows. Unfortunately most were too close together for good pics but I got a few.
Around the perimiter were some vendors with battery chargers and t-shirts, a Triumph clothing booth and a few bike clubs and such like.
There were four rows of parts boxes and a few basket cases and some miscellaneous lots of carbs, valves, heads and that kind of thing.
As you went outside in the back, there was a courtyard of miscellaneous vendors with helmets, bike parts, some bikes, clothing, and a few classics dealers, parts houses and merchandise.
Inside, there were about six rows of bikes, every single one had a no reserve on it....plenty of bonnevilles up for auction and a slew of others. Some in great shape and some original "barn" bikes. There was a 1955 T 110 with one mile on the odometer...very sweet!
We did cruise the parking lot and were pleased to see some beautiful restored triumphs as well as a few new ones.....there were probably a dozen new triumphs out there. We were quite puzzled at one, it had an antique plate on it from maine and was an 06 bonneville. The owner showed up and was asked how he got away with that one...he replied that in maine, you could switch plates between bikes and he had gotten the plate for a 1960 triumph he had back home.....and put it on the new bonnie to ride it down here.

Wednesday was a preview day as is today....friday at 1 oclock the auction begins....I'll probably head down for that....should be fun.
Have included some pictures...
Bill

Great Triumph pics. As to the Kawasaki, it looks more like a national food franchise than a cafe racer. It's probably not much easier to ride than a few of the OCC or Areln Ness creations.

Can it honestly be possible to kick-start that KawiKawi?
