Wanted: 15000 construction workers for Oz

The new Australian Federal Govt. has just announced an increase in it's intake of skilled migrants. Especially targeting an extra 15000 construction workers, to try & fix Aust's housing affordability crisis.
So any of you guys working in construction, who'd like to live, work, & ride in this glorious country.
Get down to your nearest Aussie consulate (or visit online) & get your applications in asap.

If successful, you'll be granted permanent residency for two years, which you could either renew indefinately, or apply for Aust citizenship.
If you go for citizenship, you can keep your original citizenship, provided your original country allows dual citizenship.

Qld, WA, SA & Vic are the states crying out for workers. So there's plenty of geographical variety to suit everyone.
& I think that if we've got to have more immigrants here, I'd prefer that they rode Triumphs!
So get those applications in now!!

I'm able to construct sophisticated stock market hedging and options strategies.
Does that count?

Yeap, its great down-under for riding....even in winter. There was only a few days all last winter where I thought the weather was to bad to ride into work.

Mind you the lack of rain is really starting to annoy the majority of the country....but for riding...most excellent.

(as long as there is enough water to make beer, all good )

No, no, no, my dear keanhi.
I try to actually make money; and yes, I wish the pox of our financial excess does not spread too deeply Down Under.

Too much rain's our problem right now. & much of it is heading your way, down the Darling River. So need to worry about getting enough to make beer

The other way in is to bring lots of money ($250K AUD min) & start a business that employs Aussies.
So there could be a way tba

BTW You do know that the east coast of OZ is basically one big golf course (aprox 18,000 holes from Melb to Pt Douglas)

Sparkies do very well, especially if you're prepared to go to a remote location.
The Mine's are paying huge money for any kind of tradesperson. & that's caused a shortage of skilled workers nation wide.
Natural disater area's (like Qld recent floods) are the other big money areas.
& with so many of the big coal mines in central Qld being flooded. They're going to have to offer huge money to get themselves up & running again.
The Chinese want coal not excuses!
