Dosn't look to please with the photographer inviting itself on the day trip!

If you look at the second pic you can easily see that Hugh's problems are associated with his pillion and not his bonny. That is not a happy face on either one of them.

I'n guessing he hasn't yet hooked a lace on the gear shift lever or foot peg when trying to put a foot down.

I can't speak for Hugh - but had I the benefit of that ride I am sure the smile would be ear to ear. I am sure it is old to him by now, but I would be giddy to cruise around town with that.

Hugh Laurie

Hey, how would you feel if you were trying to take some time off, reunite with your family, and moronic news photographers were all over you?

+1 to Hugh & wife for wearing the Helmets, -10 for the rest of the gear, especially the shorts on the wife!

Vintage Triumph? Oh yeah... moronic news people.

Many celebs ride anonymously and get better protection at the same time by using full face helmets. This chap wanted to be seen.

Hard to say why they look crabby. Maybe they're not. I have a picture of myself at a wedding, eating cake, and I look like I'm about to bite the photographer's head off. I recall laughing my arse off just before taking that bite of cake.

I'd be crabby with photographers following me around all day, and I'd be even crabbier if the stories portrayed me as crabby if I wasn't.

Side note: I did notice that the newspaper made proper use of the word pillion, although it's meaning has been expanded (at least from my understanding of its usage in my part of the planet).

I hate entertainment news. It's got absolutely no value at all.
I don't care what my bike mechanic does in his leisure time (as long as it doesn't affect his work) So why should I care what an entertainer does?
Don't get me wrong. I've been a big fan of Hugh Laurie since Blackadder, & I'm pleased to see we share similar tastes in bikes. But the rest of his private life is none of my business, & I'd prefer not to know about it.
