A guy here that has been laying around for a few years is shifting. He had an unusual death, one could say he wasn't a victim of moderation.

Presumably he was garrotted, then his throat was slit? Doesn't seem much point garrotting someone afterwards?! I mean... it would get really messy...

I like the statement that he's an 'everyman.' That seems rather presumptive, not to say counterintuitive. It seems at least equally likely that those selected for sacrifice might have been unusual in some way. It's even possible that this was an execution, not a sacrifice. There's probably evidence to the contrary, but is there enough evidence that the sacrifice conclusion is completely above debate?
