Norton Commando

Here's a pic I snapped of a Norton Commando in San Francisco. Can anyone tell what type it is? I think it's a fastback but I'm not sure. Sorry for the bad quality on my cell phone.

Dont know what the seat is, but I dont think it is a Norton part. The tank could be a Norvil racing part. The brake caliper looks like a Lockheed caliper mounted on an adaptor plate with the original front disc.

Here is a picture of a Fastback, borrowed off Les Emery's website http://www.norvilmotorcycle.co.uk/

This is a newly built bike, the original Fastback would have had a two leading shoe drum brake on the front.

The only reason I dont have one like this is 'cos (yet again) I failed to win the lottery last week.

The tank and seat look very much like Dunstall aftermarket bits.

Definate aftermarket goodies on that, though the seat kinda looks home-made to me. Nice looking bike except the seat. Nice to see one inbetween stock and cafe'd. I could never stop and would end up cafe'ing the crap out of it. Hmm, how would the klr look as a cafe... lol
