So What Does Your Handle Mean??

I see allot of different handles, and sometimes I wonder why would a member choose that name. Here's your chance to explain, let's hear it! I think mine is two fold.

Bottle_Fed: I run Nitrous and I like my beer in a bottle!

Shorty...'cause I'm a long tall Texan. Just kidding...I'm 5'6"...got the name in the USAF because I was the shortest of a group of guys I used to hang out with.

Shorty

I got mine from a song by Progressive Rock/Christian Rock musician Neal Morse (Spock's Beard, Transatlantic, etc.) I thought it fit.

Vanson1200R. Well because I wear a Vanson leather and my other bike is a ZRX1200R so, Vanson1200R. Easy for me to remember.

I have no imagination but a great wife and we are kind of joined in our souls, even when it comes to riding. So my sign on name is just our initials joined together.

Simple code: mecscc = Monte Eugene Canfield Susan Carol Canfield

Besides, at my age one needs something easy to remember.

After 7 years as a local sound company engineer in Greesnboro, NC I packed up and moved here where I toured with a band for 24 years as sound man, stage manager, guitar roadie, production manager (at different times for the same band).

I'm 56 so 56+roadie=oldroadie :-)

Mine's simple. I've gone by Bish since the seventies (it's just a truncation of my real name, Bishop) and I use it when I can as my internet forum ID. This site wouldn't let me us a four letter user name, so I just added Rat at the end while I was registering... my mind was a blank, and I couldn't think of anything more imaginative

First part is obvious...spent my whole 57 years in OH-IO. Back in the late '60's I used to hang out at a small local bike shop. One of the local wild men used to come in on a '65 Bonneville TT Special. Wasn't street legal but that never stopped him. One day his equally wild old lady rode in on the TT and complained that it would only do 80 MPH. Someone pointed out that the bike only had a tach so she was actually seeing 8000 RPM! The mid '60's TT's have been my dream bike ever since.
