I am a hunter ed instructor that like to take kids and others hunting that was born in 63. It started as an e-mail address each of the instructors had. I teach them the safe, fun, ethical way of hunting. It is really cool to he them light up the first time. What does that have to with motorcycles???

i have mine because i made my '73 bonnie into a hard tail bobber. and it effin fights me every inch of the way. the streets and freeways of orange county CA are littered with parts that rattle off. i just found cracks in my primary case, and it's spewing oil from there.

i don't think this particular bike wanted to get chopped up. oh well i have put it in check, and it starts first kick 95% of the time.

Hey all,

YOTR2008 stands for Year of the RAT 2008.

I've been riding for 3 years now and started with a Ninja 250 which I still have. Wife got me a new Scrambler this year as an Anniversary gift. She got herself a Honda Shadow. Anyway, I happened to see a Chinese calendar someone posted at work. Found out 2008 is the Year of the Rat. 1960, when I was born, also happens to be the Year of the Rat. The "Rat" in the handle name also seemed to be appropriate when I joined TriumphRat.Net

But my real name is Damien.

nah hedge, he means LS1. thats the new smallblock; ya know, with the dipstick on the wrong side and valve cover bolts in the middle...

Since this is the closest I could find to an intro post, I figured I'd start here.

I started using the name BikerWanabe as irony to all the hype over motorcycle reality shows. I live in the same town as West Coast Choppers and back when Monster Garage and Orange County Choppers were blowing up, I felt like I went from being relatively unique to being just another dude on a bike.
