So I helped my bud Leo get his new to him Triumph Legend off his truck today. Spent a little time checking the tires, bolting on some mirrors and such what, then headed down to the tail end of the get together at one of our local motorcycle museums.
Here's the triple on the truck:
Yeah, all that crud on the truck is salt spray from the road -- he picked it up in Iowa. It was far enough north that they still had plenty of snow.
And, here's a nice pair
A pair of Triumphs -- what did you think I meant?
That's Leo doing his garden gnome imitation behind the bikes. The storefront behind him has Dave Mungenast's collection. Lots of pretty and historic machinery -- next time I'll get more photos.
It started out a little cold, but by the time we had both bikes on the road, the weather was great for a day's ride! Tomorrow's forecast is also for a perfect fall day, even though it's winter. Should be good bicycle or motorcycle weather, at least till dark. I think I'll get the pedal bike out -- the gym's closed and I have some holiday celebration to work off.
