ISTP - excellent. Apparently I should be a mechanic or an engineer. Sweet.

Lots of people change. I'm sure there are some who can choose to change. The really hard questions are 'How many people can choose to change?' 'How long would the process take?' 'What degree of change is possible?' 'Can you reform someone who chromes sportbike wheels?'
But then again, are we actually answering the questions correctly? Have you read:
"Unskilled and Unaware of It: How Difficulties in Recognizing One's Own Incompetence Lead to Inflated Self-Assessments." Published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, vol. 77, no. 6, December 1999, pp. 1121-34. ( http://improbable.com )

Maybe we are all to incompetent to assess ourselves......

Change "maybe" to "probably" and "all" to "most", and I won't argue in the slightest. Which would prove that some people can overcome their natural instincts!
