Birds taken over Tamworth

Birds are pooping on the Aussies and they're resorting to plastic snakes to get rid of them.

Alfred Hitchcock would have had the answer !

If this works, maybe I can get over my unnatural fear of telephone booths and sea gulls.

that's not an unnatural fear. It's just like being afraid of guys with big knives wearing hockey masks, sort of.

I know that if I am ever faced with one, I can run away and it can't catch me, but that doesn't stop me from being afraid of Urals.

When faced with danger, I can always count on the fact that I can run faster scared than I can mad.

The answer

Just found one answer to Tamworth's starling problem, just read John Deere's international magazine 'The Furrow' in which it's claimed a farmer in Quilcene, Washington scares them off tuning to Seattle's KNDD 107.7FM.

Farmer Beck says he's tried everything to keep starlings off his cherry trees, gas cannon, 16-gauge, spent a fortune on netting but it's Rock that totally frightens them away. "Country doesn't work, Rap scares them but modern rock rules, totally !"

Tamworth is home of Australia's country music, if they changed to Rock, problem solved.

I'm sure these Aussies can stick up for themselves, afterall they've had plenty of practice against Kiwi's but Tamworth is actually one of Australia's icon towns with a lot of heritage.

Their festival:
