Bennington Logo

I've been fiddlefarting around with Illustrator. Be honest if the logo sucks. Suggest different slogans, too. It has 4 elements:

1) Whisper's Tiger (as he was the brainchild behind the event)
2) A Robin (as the intent was to visit Robin on the advent of her next 7-year cycle)
3) A memorial in Bennington (why not)
4) My Bonneville (hey, I designed the thing)

I was just thinking of t-shirt designs. Moderators, if you could leave here for a bit I'd be much obliged. Plus, no t-shirts are in the works so I'm not selling anything.

Great idea!
I like the mixing of the different ideas involved in this gathering. whisper's idea, bonniegirl's itch, and the tower in the background I am assuming is an historical site for Bennington? Since don't know anything about the area, and don't smoke cigars, and am a pervert, my first reaction to that was some sort of phallic symbol.
Sorry man, I'm sick, and I understand what you meant, but I'm twisted.
Could I suggest replacing it with a picture of the cafe? Could we have the bird logo smaller, or some of the scenery of Vermont? Covered bridges?
I think it's a great thing, and want to propose the idea of selling patches, stickers, t shirts, something to commemorate this event, with proceeds going to whisper and bonniegirl's favorite charity.

Whatever happens, I will support it.
Good work, man.

The slogan is absolutely perfect!

Maybe a diner instead of the obelisk?

Here's the latest. I didn't put the diner in for two reasons. One is that Robin will have sold it by then (I presume. Someone has already looked at it, apparently), and two, I don't have a good photo of it.

I took the Bonneville out to give the graphic a more open feel around the bridge opening. Thanks for the ideas, rndtaylor. The robin's tail moving off the picture is symbolic of her moving on in her life. The monument did, indeed, seem a bit phallic so it's gone.

I really like this. Showing only the opening of the bridge leaves the suggestion of the beginning of a journey, but we don't know where it ends.
Very appropriate. Good work.

I like it, except that's one BIG bird and Robin is, well, a pretty petite woman. Would a robin perched on the grab rail still be recognizable? I mean, Robin DOES ride a Triumph so it makes sense to have her ON one...

I like where you're going with this!

Pete, I like your suggestion. The robin is a key part of the graphic, but it doesn't have to be exaggerated to make the point. I didn't add anything more. Instead, the text and symbols wrap the left, and the bridge image is opened up completely.

Slight Variation

This one has the Tiger lowered a little to sit roughly parallel to the road. Doing so took a little "speed" out of the bike, though. Which one - this one or the previous?

Its starting to look like a final copy there Guy good work and thanks for taking the time. Could ya make a design with some sort of Cafe tonup type of design for the event even know we are not planing to TT it up there but for the vintage look of triumphs past. Something with the Robins cafe and Bennington VT and well what do I know about it good work .

It looks very nice but something is a miss....what could it be? I know you need a bigger bike!
