such musings are precisely the point of this forum

I've looked at the Triumph logo for decades and didn't see it. I was just noticing how the last three letters in the logo neatly abbreviate "miles per hour" ..cool.

Just be glad the UK wasn't metric when the company was founded. "Triukmph" just doesn't have the same rinkg to it.
