Selling the TBird

Well folks tomorrow I am off to the Honda shop to test ride a honda CB1300s. I am rather taken with these offerings of japanese goodness, I had a short ride a few weeks back on a mates one. They will appraise my TBird at the same time. If the deal is good I will go ahead.
I have grown out of the TBird, it no longer meets my needs( I need a big mile eater with a fairing) The CB seems like it will suit my requirements rather well. I would like to keep the TBird but I cant afford it. Anyway I'll let yers know how it goes.

That's a pity Woodsie, it'll be difficult you to go back and get another TBird, they're sought after. I once sold my BSA Goldstar, yes I had one directly after I sold my Roman chariot and have regretted it ever since.

I have a CB1300, bought it new at the end of '05, and I am very very pleased with this bike, it's different from the TBird, not as good for two-up touring but a great street/sports bike with terrific handling and power to burn. You'll love it.

Ride on !

I am trying to do a work around so I can keep it mate. I dunno how many trips up north the Tbird has in it before it ****s itself. Once a bike hits 100,000klms I tend not to trust it much anymore. I know its history and the fact is it has been a fantastic bike, but it is getting old for daily use.
I'll be doing 2400 klm round trip every three weeks with my new job so I need reliability.
