Question Montrey Bay Trip

Going to Montrey Bay for my honeymoon with my better half at the end of October and will be there for a week and would like to meet some fellow Triumph riders while I am there and also go ride some.
I have found a couple of places to rent bikes and was wondering which one is the best place to go and if there is any one that rents Triumph Sport bikes the only place I have found only has a Bonneville so I am going to go with a Japanese sport bike unless someone knows where I can rent a Triumph at.
I am planning on renting the bike for a Friday and Saturday thinking those would be the best days to ride if not would someone please give me a better days if needed and the reason I can get away with this is she is going to San Francisco to go shopping and I get ride.

Anyway thanks for any and all help.

Eric

You've got to do HWY 1. Riding it south gives you all the vistas of the ocean, and then after you've gotten the feel for it, you can ride it back north for a bit of flogging and fun. There are so many good roads........Check Google maps...looks like Carmel Valley road, across the 101 to Metz road, south to Bitterwater rd., east to 25, north to 156, and then head west through a bunch of different roads that are basically 156 and you're back in Monterey. I've done all of those roads, except Metz, at one time or another. Monterey is about half a days ride north of me. I've rode up there and back to have lunch before, cause Hwy 1 is a gas, gas, gas, especially starting around this time of year when the freaking tourist are gone with their lumbering RV's. Have fun, and go with the sport bike.

Talking Good Woman

Actually she knows I hate big cities and shopping and would rather ride so shes being good to me and letting me go ride while she shops now in my book that a good woman!

We are also staying for eight days and she knows I start having DT's if I haven't rode at least for a couple of hours during the week.

I assume you're bringing your golf clubs as well...

Cool No golf clubs

Have never played the game but with the bike and the roads I am pretty sure I am going to have a blast.
Finally found a Triumph bike to ride while I am there its a TT600 and I am so happy that I get to ride a Triumph while I am in California and it all thanks to a RAT member.
Now just deciding on the days to go riding and hoping to find someone to show me around the area.

Two of my favourite Monterey area rides :-

The One in RED Is two to three hours
The One in BLUE is an all day trip

If you go on the BLUE Ride, be prepared as you will need all your paperwork on hand (Licence insurance ect) as you will be going through Fort Hunter Leggett. You also might want to stop of along HWY 1 Before you get to the Nacimiento-Fergusson Rd turn off, because there is nothing between it and King City, (unless you turn Right instead of left on Jolon RD, and go to the Cross roads, where u will find a general store)
