That is just plain tragic. What stupidity.

A tragic and pathetic story of what is going on in our nation...

I wanted to make a flippant riposte about my wearing non-confrontational golf shirts; but this story, which is not a one-off, precludes me from doing so.

Bum bum bummer...

(And I'm a Coot.)

Pathetic really. It makes you wonder what they think ??

I just can't imagine taking a life (I guess unless in self defence or protecting my family) but when it is such a flippant token gesture it seems incomprehensible to mere folk like me!!

Very sad state of affairs...

And that my friends, is exactly why I quit my good paying job in NJ and moved back up here. (not so I can wear hells angels t-shirts, but so I don't have to worry about getting shot)

After reading that, if I were the guy (Martin) whose lawyer they interviewed, I would just plead guilty. His attempt at a defense sounded like the worst argument ever. I never understood why someone would kill another person, especially over something as dumb as what t-shirt they are wearing.

Why I'm not a "biker"

That is why I always gently correct someone who says I am a biker. No, I'm a rider, there's a big difference.

As we both well know Dec, the recent shooting is by no means a rarity.

The number of teen agers shooting each other is numbing in its regularity.

It's hideous what people will do to each other. And it's hideous that our 'justice system' lets them do it over and over and over again.
