A question to all you married men / engaged men.

I just bought a titanium ring and am curious to know your thoughts about riding and wearing rings, does it bother you having your ring on while riding?

Do your gloves pad your hands enough to a point where you don't notice it?

Personally I hate the feel of something between my fingers but am working on getting used to it.

Give me your two cents on the topic.

Ladies you can chime in too!

At first I wasn't so impressed at the idea of a wedding band but wanted to show my level of "commitment".

After 20 years I am used it and it doesn't bother me at all.

Titanium, that's the metal that 'remembers' its shape, it's nice to know when you get bent out of shape the ring doesn't.

Is this ring for something special , personally I don't wear them, depends what you do for a living, if you're working with your hands you could lose a finger when the ring get caught up in something.

If you're uncomfortable with it just wear it for special occasions.

Ride on !

Mate I have rings on nearly every finger. I never take them off, I have worn most of them riding for over thirty years, and have had many a crash on road and in the bush. Not a problem you'll get used to wearing it after a while you wont even notice you have it on.

Don`t really like them whilst riding but I do wear my wedding band and a jade pinky ring on my right hand.

Due to safety requirements, I was prohibited from wearing a ring during my working years, so I never got used to the feeling.
I guess you can get used to anything if you want to....... even being married.

I've had mine on for so long it doesn't bother me anymore. Every once in a while at work I need to take it off because I get into contact with jet fuel, which in my case causes a serious rash under the ring if I don't wash it off right away.

You'll get used to it before long. Just be cautious if you wear it white water rafting or water skiing. They can slip off (Mine did once!).

I'll have to disagree with everyone here. I was wearing mine when I had an accident back in 2001. Had to cut it off, before it cut off all circulation to my finger. Luckily, the wife bought a cheapo for like fitty bucks, but she's yet to replace it, so I go ringless.
