My Sprint has it

My Guzzi has it in spades

The name on the tank helps...

and I must say the fine touches that I have made to her hear and there have given her character...

Character in a bike to me, is sleek lines, smooth arcs and and overall design that makes the bike look like some kind of animal. To me when you pull the mirrors back on a '05+ Sprint it looks like a cat / panther / tiger pulling its ears back to protect them during a fight. Or even if it was compassionate to your mood like it felt bad for you or something, you know how a cat or dog pulls its ears back and nuzzles into you showing that they care?

Maybe I'm just crazy... but doesn't the nose of the sprint st look like a falcon? Everything tucked in slicked back and dive bombing its prey at ridiculous speeds.

I think it's a combination of things like the engine and the looks. When I reach down and stroke her gas tank and talk to her I know she has it.

Or does that just mean I need help?

LoVel,
probably both, but you're not alone.

No way I talk to Serra ( thats her name ) all the time, we have dinner together and she loves it when I grip her handles and pop her drain plug during an oil change.

Ok now I'm worried about myself.

By the way whats your bikes name? You can't own a bike and not name her, its just not Kosher.

I can't think of a single Triumph that has, what one could loosely describe as character. After all, do not Triumph idly boast that their bits of metal are genetically engineered and share the same DNA? Oh yes they do!

Ducati - yes. Beautiful growl and a soulful engine when working

Moto-Guzzi - yes. Fantastic power train and despite carrying weight goes round corners as if it was on rails.

Royal Enfield - yes. Built to cross any terrain and can be fixed by the side of the road with a few pebbles and a couple of twigs.

Honda - yes. More beautiful than the most beautiful super model. Swish, refined, svelte. A synthesis of form, function and the highest aesthetic values in the most understated way. Top of any cool list.

MV Augusta - yes. You have to shoot one to stop it to see and feel the crazy Latin character.

MZ - yes. Before all the crazy emission laws an MZ was the bike to have. Made by the people who perfected the two stroke engine. Ideal for barging through or over the Berlin Wall with machine gun bullets whistling past your ear.

thanks fer the kind words Mr. Smith. I love the freak'n Zard. Really lets that triple motor sing. As far as tune goes, I never ran a Triumph factory tune, I got a hold of Tuneboy at the same time I purchased the Zard and I am currently running a modified Wayne MacDonald tune. She runs very nice. :

I just call her Baby. Keeps me from mistakenly calling her the wrong name. Not that I would ever stray but I certainly wouldn't want to have her mad at me.
