Trying out the touring stuff

Just been away for the camping trial, everything went well exept forgetting to take an airbed and pump, and a chair! the trip was fantastic, wifey came along on her aprilia RS, which kept the speed down which was no bad thing, we went to the Norfolk coast about 50 miles, the bike handled superbly, loaded with two sleeping bags, the tent , cooker and all related stuff, most of the first day was absolutly scorching weather, we just took pot luck on the campsite and picked a corner out of the way, the site did not allow children and the peace and quiet was wonderful, we walked through the dunes to the sea, strolled along the beach to a little village where we went into a local pub and had a fantastic crab salad washed down with a nice crisp white wine, wondered back to the tent and watched a fantastic sunset before going to bed at sundown. next morning we rode to Brancaster for a big breakfast before going back to the site and packing up. We did the tourist stuff and visited the Queens house at Sandrigham, she was not in! but we strolled the gardens toured the house and had tea, before setting off home, great times and good riding, the bike handled all the gear with ease, the racks and panniers did the job superbly and due to the nature of the racks there was loads of bungee points for all the gear.

Do you have a photo editing program? otherwise I'm sure you can reduce the size of the photo with Windows paint program.

Well if you are using XP you can get a resizer with MS Power Toys and load Image Resizer. All you need to do to resize after that is right-click on your photo and choose re-size.

A few other goodies in this link to which might be useful.

Ride on !

'Irfanview' is an OK photographic viewer / editor. And its free.

Re-size to 800 x 600 and the pictures will be large enough to look good, but no so big as to be a p.i.t.a. when opening a thread.

Or just take the air bed. You have a pump with you at all times. It's called your lungs.
