I have let my two friends I ride with ride my bike. On the undersatnding that if they wreck, they buy.

But they also have very nice bikes in their own way that they let me ride.

3 people. The shop manager (who also happens to be our Rat leader) who made sure it was setup right.
My best bud (on his 2nd Sprint now) that got me back into cycling.
And my high school buddy. He was just getting into his divorce and needed a pick me up. I thought he was going to get a Sprint, but as soon as his divorce was final he went out & bought a new FJR1300.

Generally not but I wouldn't mind for a short distance my two regular riding mates are competent riders.

Oddly when I take my TB to get the WOF (MOT) check every 6 months the guy that checks out bikes always has a test ride. The first time he was gone for so long I thought he had stacked it and even the receptionist was looking worried. Turned up, said "Great bike !" and passed it.

Notice he doesn't bother to ride my Honda though.

Ride on !

There are three things in life that a man should not share; his tootbrush, his wife and his bike. 'Nuff said.
