Triumph 1500 cruiser

Well have we all seen the photo's of the 1500 in MCN, I mean the big one not the spyshots? Very big twin with shaft drive and loads of torque, three headlights and a UK price between the Bonnie and rocket (8000), again due for release in a few weeks. Anyone here interested in it or is it aimed at wooing HD riders onto something different?

I'm vaugely interested. I was thinking about getting a more comfortable commuter bike. Perhaps this is it...

I have also been considering some BMWs and Moto Guzzis, so it's going to have to be fairly impressive to woo me...

I am very interested. This is about the size I was looking for when it comes time to buy a cruiser. The Victory Hammer was my first choice, but after seeing this, right now it is my first, but need to wait until it comes out so I can take a test ride.

I would be interested if Triumph was going to actually produce one. But I don't care for the looks of the bike in the photo you're refering to. But I don't think Triumph is going to be releasing anything of the kind.

If they did, I'd have to consider trading in my Vulcan 2000, though, and I doubt I'd do that. Other wise I'd have to trade in my Tiger. I'd be more likely to trade in my Tiger on the Moto Guzzi Norge, which is a fabulous bike. I rode for a vigorous 22 mile stretch. It is a fabulous bike.

I'd be interested if it didn't have such a classic look. I'd be more interested in a Speedmaster version. It'd also have to have fuel injection. I wouldn't buy a bike without it. I consider the liquid cooling a plus even with the goofy radiator cover.

One thing that i find really nice is they didn't F' up this bike by putting the a$$ way up in the air like most of their recent models. The tail of the Sprint and Tiger still make me vomit a little in my mouth.

If we're talking about the MCN Photoshop concept, then the finished product may be very little like it.
