College Courses on "World's Oldest Profession" May Be Offered in New Zealand

I was pretty upset about the new "progressive" sex education course being taught in our county schools next year, but I think the Kiwis have now upstaged Montgomery County. And probably San Francisco.

"Funding for tertiary courses in prostitution could be considered under changes aimed at boosting quality and relevance in the sector, education officials say." http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/1/...ectid=10452364

Yeah I'm thinking of opening an establishment myself, after doing the course of course

The mind boggles with this present government, it's not long ago a couple were awarded a grant of $36,000 to study rap dancing in the US.

They've got money to burn, mine and every other taxpayer.

Thumbs up Quality and relevance

Yeah, I'm all for boosting Q&R when it comes to prostitution, although I'm not sure where the relevance factor fits in. Anything that puts a stick in the eye of the bluenoses is alright by me.

All in the name of continuing education, of course

I will offer my services as a focus group participant to study the efficacy of the curriculum; particularly the lab portions.

You're right Kingbear, nothing like this in SF. For a city known for its supposed liberalism, SF is pretty rigid on street prostitution. There are nowhere near as many "ladies" out in the red light districts as there used to be. I know. I've looked!

Although, if you're a man who wants to become a woman so you can be a prostitute, the city will pay for that operation for all city employees and contractors. Which just seems a little too far to one end of the spectrum IMHO.

Unbelievable.

I live in a townhouse complex in a fair neighbourhood. There's a hotel next door which a few months ago took on a new role and now provides ladies of the night. That's right, I live next to a knockshop; a blooming whorehouse.

Strange but true, but if anything the value of our properties has increased!

'......they would still have to meet tight criteria to get funding.'

Ah, there's always a catch. Loose women needn't apply.

"Funding for tertiary courses in prostitution" are already being paid for by the parents, as attested to by observance of any Thursday, Friday, Saturday night parties in dorms all across our great land.

I just want to know how they're going to teach sheep to boost quality and relevance in the sector?

Although I do know from talking to a Kiwi mate of mine that the sheep already meet the tight criteria......

Yeah, I was just talking to your mate, he said they were all slack in Oz. I assumed he meant sheep !

At least when I open my establishment I won't have to get rid of the stock !
