So, I'm out for a bit of a scoot this morning.
I pull into a gas station. There's a bus stop in front.
I fill up, and go in and pay.

Coming out, I see a crying kid, standing near my bike, with his fingers in his mouth.

His mother accosts me.

"Look what you did to my son!" she screams at me.

"Lady," I say, "A. you need to keep track of your kid. And B. he's just learned a painful but valuable lesson."

Sheesh...

Other Motorcycle: I wish!
She lets her kid run around on the forecourt of a gas station and it's YOUR fault?

What if the kid ran in front of a car and got skittled?
I s'pose that would be the drivers fault.

Some parents need a good slap up the side of the head.

This is almost as bad as the time you backed into the lady in the SUV.
Be more careful next time! :-D

did she at least offer to clean the skin fingerprints off the pipes?

EDIT:

I build houses for a living (for the next 10 days anyway....) so I'm in neighborhood/subdivision/suburbia type areas all the time. Lots of kids.

Once this housewife type runs out after my truck so I stop. She yells "YOU NEED TO SLOW DOWN! MY KIDS PLAY ON THESE STREETS!!!"

I responded, "your kids play on the streets?" and drove off.

Same woman 2 weeks later is driving behind me and I'm doing the speed limit (20 mph) and she actually passed me because I was going to slow. Sheesh!

Ya know, my dad would've smacked me upside the head for being stupid enough to touch the hot pipe.
