Hockey Puck

Ok so what does hockey have to do with a T-bird - especially in July.

Well through much trial and error I discovered that a regulation NHL hockey puck is exactly 1 inch thick.

When my T-bird is on the center stand and I place the puck under the front tire the bike is level. Makes it easy to check the oil and other fluid levels.

As a bonus the puck is also serves as a kick stand plate when parking on soft ground and asphalt.

Nice tip

Not sure I would want a 1" thick sidestand puck though

There is one. It's called a Parking Puck.

I have a small square of aluminium, about 10mm thick. It has a hole and a string which is attached to the pocket it goes into in my Jacket, the string is on a little clip,so if I park somewhere boggy, I dont have to reach down to pick it up again, which I struggle to do anyway, because of bad hip and shortness of leg. Its a handy little jigger.

Parking Puck rules. I have one and it's great in the summer here, especially in newly paved parking lots.
