I might be able to actually fit on that one...looks like just the ticket for the twisties. Weight? I'm assuming aside from not getting the daytona's front breaks that the suspension (rear shock) is a cheapo??

No thanks, I've got plenty.

Oh--you mean the bike? 368 dry.

Depends what you mean by the term. It's not separate reservoir, fully adjustable, no. Is that automatically cheapo? I'd say it depends how well it works. We'll have to see about that.

That's the same weight as the Daytona as far as I can tell. I would have thought it was lighter.

Here's Triumph's website for the Street Tripple. It gives up 2 ft/lbs of torque and 18 horses to the Daytona :???: . I could see it having fewer ponies for an increase in torque but less in both departments? Great looker though and I bet it handles like a champ! I reckon it'll be a big seller for Triumph.

I would agree, but I wouldn't swap my TBS for one.

Well, as far as I know, I haven't seen a dyno chart to see where that torque is made. Its possible that overall its down 2 lb/ft peak, but making more earlier in the RPM range. 18 ponies though?... ouch, what did they do!?

Also, in the pic, it looks like the headlights are pointing down for the sake of asthetics for the photo shoot. It might have a slightly different look if they need to be brought up a bit. I know that my S4 lights were pointing down so bad that I couldn't see 20ft in front of me, when I bought it, factory new.

I guess dollars always equals horsepower. By the time you get the state of tune back to the Daytona level you might as well just get the Daytona and take the fairing off.
