I read this morning that NFL Europe is shutting down its operation. Did anyone in Europe ever care about the American football teams?

Another question,
Did anyone in the US care about the European NFL teams?

I doubt it.

I guess that depends on what you call football.

If you go along with the definition for the rest of the world the answer would be yes but not very well.

I didn't even know they had a Europe League up until a a month ago when I saw the description on the TV.

I am not surprised it didn't do well, what did they expect, they already tried that World League awhile back and was gone within a year or 2. :hammer:

American football is just that American football. Meant to be played in the fall. How many times has this been demonstrated? I'm sure someone will try it again. Yes, there is Canadian football but I don't know anything about it which probably, dosen't reflect well on me. But in my defense, since we switched from the big dish to the little one we don't get the CBC anymore. I use to like their news and sports. I haven't seen a decently broadcast Olympics since Norway.
