That fire is right over the hill from me...they are having a real hard time getting it out. 3000 people evacuated, real nasty fire.

He's about an hour and a half...problem is it's difficult to even get into the area as they have so many areas blocked off. Best to stay out of the area until they get it completely contained...

Tahoe is such a tinder box when there's been enough snow pack let alone when it's pushing for driest year on record. This is the 2nd or 3rd such fire season in the last few years.
