do you guys have any quotes or philosophies that guide or influence your lives? style of riding? style of living?

this is a random topic that just happened to by on my mind while i was on the site, so thats why i put it up.

mine would have to be this, or something akin to it:
A ship in harbor is safe, but thats not what ships are for.

what's yours?

I just take it one day at a time seanke, and just hope that the weathers good.

So that would make my motto 'A port in any storm'

Ride on !

"The worst of all fears is the fear of living." Or put another way, ‘Always do what you are afraid to do.’

See my Sig below, that's one of them. Works for me.

Here are a couple from some celebrities you may know.

Rex Harrison
"Exhilaration is that feeling you get just after a great idea hits you, and just before you realize what's wrong with it."

Peter O'Toole
"The only exercise I take is walking behind the coffins of friends who took exercise."

and
"The nicest buttocks in the world are in Ireland. Irish women are always carrying water on their heads, and always carrying their husbands home from pubs. Such things are the greatest posture-builders in the world."

James Stewart
"There ought to be a law against any man who doesn't want to marry Myrna Loy".

John Wayne
"I never trust a man that doesn't drink."
and
"Talk low, talk slow, and don't say too much."
and
"Courage is being scared to death - and saddling up anyway."
and
"I don't think a fella should be able to sit on his backside and receive welfare. I'd like to know why well-educated idiots keep apologizing for lazy and complaining people who think the world owes them a living."

Mick
