Hasn't stopped raining for almost two weeks now. Same pattern as 150 years ago when the Industrial Revolution started The strange thing is: there isn't a single global doom expert to be found anywhere?

Funny how they all vanish when the weather is typically English.

...or when hurricane season isn't very bad, or when the global average temperature actually drops from one year to the next...

That's the problem with anecdotal evidence. It's very subject to selection bias. That, and the difficulty of spelling "anecdotal."

Anyone with any sense would.
Who in their right mind would want to hang around when the weather is crappy?
I s'pose, that is why God made places like Hawaii.

We could use some typical English weather before we all dry up and blow away.

Must be that dang global warming.

Not drought breaking but still very welcome. The cattle are smiling at least.

Arch,

I didn“t think you Englishmen bothered about some damp. You sons of Hornblower - always wet from head to toe!

And remember, if you want to ride dry, you are the inventors of Belstaff waxed cotton that will keep the moisture away.

Never give up, never surrender!

Lars

OK Arch, you have a point...

Would you be intrested in trading in your Bonnie for a jet-ski?
